Q. Why do we have to use ETSY?

A. European VAT rules mean that all items posted to Europe from anywhere else (including the UK) will be charged VAT. If the VAT is not pre-paid then it will be collected from the customer on delivery with the addition of a processing fee (maybe as much as 20 euros). This will also delay the delivery of your orders. ETSY provide a pre-payment facility so that you the customer are protected from paying this fee and will also avoid any delivery delays at customs. Please note we have subsidised the shipping to Europe on some products to offset some or all of the VAT charged.
